An excellent opportunity is now available for a Cancer Center Physician Assistant in a Central California Community Hospital
The Oncology Care Physician Assistant will be joining a community-based non-profit Medical Center with a long history of dedicated and compassionate care. Your primary clinical care will take place in a free standing clinic, where the Cancer Care PA will see anywhere from twelve (12) to twenty (20) patients a day. Fully owned by the providers with which it associates, this Oncology Practice is staffed by a full complement of Physicians, Registered Nurses, and Physicians Assistants.
The Cancer Center Physician Assistant will provide hematological and oncologic health care treatments for individuals in the community. The Oncology Physician Assistant will deliver care within an Outpatient Cancer Center with a diverse patient population.
Another primary facet of the Physician Assistant role is pre & post treatment psychological support. You’ll get to take an active role in supporting superior patient care from both a physiological and psychological point of view, throughout the continuum of care from diagnosis to survivorship. While your typical cases will involve adult populations, you can also expect to see frequent pediatric and adolescent cases because this medical group provides care to a large portion of Central California.
Home to an affordable cost of living, fantastic schools, and a tight knit community fabric, the Central California area is a great place to call home. For the Oncology / Cancer Services PA that enjoys the great outdoors, there’s no better place.
The PA Physician’s Assistant will support and oversee the operations of a busy Clinic. You’ll provide clinical support to small, dedicated team of providers, and you’ll provide healthcare support to a vibrant and hardworking community. In these pursuits, you’ll be supported by a generous benefits package and competitive compensation.
