NICU Nurse Practitioner
A large not-for-profit hospital in the greater Boston metropolitan area has a fantastic opportunity for a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join the team in a high-acuity NICU.
This is a great place to be for any Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about the NICU and Neonates. This is a teaching and research facility, with high nursing, physician and employee satisfaction. This hospital consistently receives both local and national accolades for clinical achievement, as well as outstanding nursing care.
The Neonatal Nurse Practitioner will work within a Level III NICU that is part of a large, well-established Women and Children's Services Department that includes high-risk OB, maternity, pediatrics and a neonatal transport program. This large NICU offers high-frequency ventilation, inhaled nitric oxide, and Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation. The hospital sees the tiniest neonates, surgical, birth abnormalities and more. The NNP will work in a multi-disciplinary team of neonatologists, RN's, RT's, case workers, occupational and physical therapists, nutritionists, lactation consultants and pediatric surgeons.
The hospital would consider new graduate Neonatal Nurse Practitioners with strong NICU RN experience. The ideal candidate is one looking to practice in a family-centered environment that cultivates an academic and innovative culture.
The hospital is located near Boston. The community around the hospital is well known for great dining and easy access to some of the cities beloved theaters, music venues and museums.
This hospital offers comprehensive benefits that include medical, dental, vision and retirement. They would also offer funds towards relocation.
