Psychiatric Physician Assistant
A Seattle Metropolitan Area Psychiatric Hospital is actively seeking a Psychiatric Physician Assistant to join their growing healthcare organization.
The Behavioral Health Physician Assistant will be working for an established healthcare organization, that provides care to a diverse patient population dealing with a number of behavioral and psychiatric issues.
The Psychiatric Physician Assistant will be working alongside a number of other Mental Health NPs and Psychiatrists who will collaborate to promote the best care possible for each patient. The Physician Assistant Psychiatric Observation Unit will observe general behavioral, signs and symptoms of illness, physical condition, and reactions to treatment in order to adjust patient’s treatment for safe continuity of care.
The Crisis Stabilization Physician Assistant will report to the Medical Director and the Director of Behavioral Health. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will evaluate patients through interviewing family and patients, and administering psychological reviews. The ARNP behavioral Health will be responsible for providing safe, patient centered care to maintain a calm environment, within the medical center. The Physician Assistant Psychiatric Stabilization Unit will collaborate and cooperative often with administrative, clinical and academic personnel.
The Psychiatric Physician Assistant will be working with patients with chronic mental illness, cognitive and a variety of dementia cases. The ideal candidate will have Psychiatric experience and has a strong desire to work in a fast paced environment.
