An established critical access hospital located in the northern Maine region is currently searching for an experienced Certified Nurse Midwife to join their cherished healthcare organization.
This 25-bed full-service critical access hospital provides a wide variety of award-winning acute care services to many surrounding communities. The Certified Nurse Midwife will join a system that is known as an integral member of the community that provides world-class inpatient and outpatient medical, surgical, and emergency services. Functioning as an independent practitioner, the Certified Nurse Midwife will consult and collaborate with Physicians to provide obstetric, gynecologic, primary, and preventative care to female patients. The Certified Nurse Midwife will also provide intrapartum care, OB/GYN assessment, and labor delivery management in a hospital setting. The Certified Nurse assists with treatment development, appropriate follow-up care, education of patients, and accurate documentation of diagnosis and treatment plans.
- Graduate of an approved school of Nursing
- Registered Nursing license in the state of Maine
- Completion of a post-grad program in Nurse Midwifery
- Covid19 vaccination is required per state
