NICU Nurse Practitioner
A not-for-profit, multi-hospital healthcare system with locations throughout the Midwest needs to add a NICU Nurse Practitioner to their team of Neonatal professionals at one of their specialized children's hospitals in the Southern Illinois/Saint Louis region.

This NICU Nurse Practitioner will practice in the large, Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) that is a referral center for multiple neighboring counties. They will get babies as early as 23 weeks at this facility. There is a transport team that works out of this NICU to move babies to and from the facility as necessary. This is a Baby Friendly hospital, so the NICU offers extensive resources and support for breastfeeding mothers.
The labor and delivery unit averages 1200 births annually and offers holistic and individualized care for mother and babies including both doctor and midwifery care, lactation consultants, laborists, private rooms and a state of the art security system to ensure the highest level of safety for baby.
