A fantastic new opportunity as a Nurse Practitioner Oncology has just become available with a large hospital in beautiful, Southern California.
This short term acute care hospital has been designated as a Best Regional Hospital by U.S. News & World Report. The Infusion Center Nurse Practitioner will have the opportunity to work for a nonprofit hospital that is dedicated to providing superior healthcare to patients and their families. This 250+ bed hospital was awarded as a Thrombectomy-Capable Stroke Center by Joint Commission in collaboration with American Heart Association/American Stroke Association.
The Nurse Practitioner Oncology will work in a new 11 chair infusion center with adult patients and state of the art equipment. The Nurse Practitioner Oncology will collaborate with Oncologists, Nurse Navigator, Care Planner, Nurses, Pharmacists, and Dosimetrists. The services include Radiation Therapy, Chemotherapy/Infusion, and personalized cancer and hematology treatment plans.
The Nurse Practitioner Hematology will report to the Oncology Nurse Manager. The responsibilities include managing patients, working closely with nursing staff to manage issues, and treating patients as effectively as possible or requested by physician. The Oncology Nurse Practitioner will be treating residents of the community in the center.
