The Inpatient Radiology Advanced Practice Provider will join a team of dedicated personnel who provide care for more than 100,000 patients each and every year.
The Inpatient Radiology Advanced Practice Provider will work within the Radiology and Diagnostics department of this 500+ bed hospital. This department is accustomed to working with patients who are managing pre-surgical testing, follow-up testing, and diagnostic testing due to patient symptoms. The Inpatient Radiology Advanced Practice Provider will work with diagnostic equipment such as X-rays, Computerized Tomography (CT scanning) Position Emission Tomography (PET scanning), Magnet Resonance Imaging (MRI), Ultrasound, fluoroscopy, nuclear medicine, lymphoscintigraphy, or a combination of these therapies.
The Inpatient Radiology Advanced Practice Provider will work within a diagnostic department that is accustomed to diagnosing a variety of patient cases including pre-surgical testing, post-surgical follow ups, or even if a physician is inquiring about a patient’s specific symptoms. This diagnostic department is determined to expand radiology and diagnostic research while delivering the latest and most advanced clinical care. The Inpatient Radiology Advanced Practice Provider will be a vital member of the diagnostic clinical leadership team as they will be responsible for attaining full patient medical histories, performing physical exams, diagnosing medical issues, providing adequate medical treatment, ordering medications, performing invasive and non-invasive procedures, and educating both staff and patients alike.
