The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Cardiovascular Services will work in the Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit, Stepdown Unit and Cardiothoracic Surgery Unit with pediatric patients. The experienced Pediatric NP Cardiac Services will have the opportunity to be part of an autonomous team that treats a wide range of conditions including Cardiac MRI, Cardiomyopathy, Dyslipidemia, Electrophysiology, and Heart Failure. The Cardiothoracic Surgery Unit conducts about 1,000 heart surgeries.
The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Cardiovascular Services will report to the Director of the Heart Organization and will collaborate with cardiac surgeons. The flexible Pediatric NP Cardiac Services will diagnose and manage patients’ acute and chronic diseases, conduct and interpret appropriate diagnostic and laboratory tests, and serve as a health care resource. The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Cardiovascular Services will have the opportunity to be part of a devoted team known for treating complicated cases and upholding impressive health outcomes.
