Opening soon, this 100+ bed inpatient behavioral health hospital will offer a wide range of services to the surrounding community. The incoming Mental Health Nurse Practitioner will directly support these services by working as either an Inpatient Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or as an Emergency Crisis Stabilization Nurse Practitioner. This non-profit organization has strong roots in the community and will provide an incredibly important service to the growing population of the Puget Sound / Seattle Region.
Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer, each of the Mental Health Nurse Practitioners will serve in a matrixed organization, where cooperation and collaboration are every bit as important as patient care. You’ll get to work alongside an an exceptional team of Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Board Certified Psychiatric / Mental Health Nurse Practitioners, Physician’s Assistants, Mental Health Certified RNs, and a caring support staff.
Choosing to work in the Crisis Stabilization Unit will put the Emergency Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (NP) on the front-lines of serving the community, supporting intake and processing of both voluntary in involuntary admissions.
Opting to work as an Inpatient Psychiatric Mental-Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) will mean serving as a provider, patient-care advocate, and quality champion in this 100+ bed Psychiatric facility.
Regardless of the path chosen, the Mental Health Nurse Practitioner will provide compassionate and complete patient care through the evaluation of needs, development and implementation of treatment plans, and the monitoring of treatment results. Additionally, the NP will play an important part in supporting quality improvement initiatives, continuous evaluation of new psychotherapeutic and interdisciplinary treatment methods, and participating in shared staff educational initiatives.
