The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist CRNA will report to the Chief CRNA and will provide anesthesia services to surgery patients following the directions of an Anesthesiologist. The CRNA will administer drugs and anesthetic agents and will carry out life support functions. The CRNA will deliver conscious sedation and psychological support to the patient as needed and must possess effective communication to sooth and support family members.
